Radio Program Notes

Busy week on The TEAM 990 once again, as the Alouettes ahve advanced to the Grey Cup.

Tonight at 8pm the Rouge Radio Show will soldier on as Scott Flory will be flying out to Calgary with the Als. Jim Beauchamp and myself will carry the load and we will at least get some reaction from Scott Flory prior to his flight this evening. It won't be all Grey Cup either as in our amateur segment we'll look at the CIS past weekend and the upcoming Vanier Cup.

On Wednesday The TEAM 990 is donating 2 hours of Als coverage once again. from 8pm to 10pm, we will set the table for the Grey Cup by chatting it up with our good friend Herb Zurkowsky of the Montreal Gazette and we will be joined by Dan O'Conner of CJNB Radio in Saskatchewan to set the table for the Riders.

Als at Home Safe Bet

Beautiful day once again for Larry Smith and his Alouettes. looking at 9,C with some cloud, Wow the forecast was on the mark. Minimal wind, nothing that should affect the passing or kicking game.

Als get back AC, Sanchez, Emry and Ferri which will make the difference. With Hamilton winning yesterday puts more pressure on Winnipeg. However, their game against Hamilton next week is a bigger priority.

I think the Als Wideouts will find more room at home and with AC at the helm. Defence does need to pick up their game, Keep Winnipeg under 25 points and the Als should be fine.
